The FijiFirst party will always promote fair civil servant appointments without provincial or divisional favours for these jobs.
FijiFirst general secretary, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, made this point referring to comments made earlier by The People’s Alliance leader, Sitiveni Rabuka on the appointment of 70 per cent of top civil servants from Vanua Levu during his term as Prime Minister.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said the FijiFirst party worked on an open merit recruitment system for all civil servant appointments.
