Raijeli Lal, 72, of Naka­ma in Savusavu, Caka­udrove was full of praise for the policies initiated by the FijiFirst Party in its 15 years of leadership.

She said poor students were one of the many beneficiaries.

Ms Lal was thankful because her grandson was able to graduate from Fulton College in Nadi on the Government-assisted Tertiary Education Loans scheme (TELS).

“People must understand that this party is the only one that gave our children the chance to pursue studies on Government scholarships without any race based selection,” she said
