It was her confidence in God that allowed Vasemaca Bogidrau of Lami to take a leap of faith and pursue a Bachelor of Primary Education at the Fulton Adventist University College in Nadi.

Last Sunday, the 26-year-old was one of seventy-nine students who received their certificates during the graduation ceremony at the college campus in Sabeto, Nadi. She said she was pregnant with her second child Filimoni Savou in February this year while she was enrolled in her programme. She gave birth in October.

“It was a big relief and I just want to thank God. I cannot achieve this without God because I faced a lot of problems, especially because I have a family and I was pregnant during the semester and it was so hard, but through God I did everything and I feel overjoyed,” she said.
