School Facilities Not For Pre-Polling Says Mohammed Saneem
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem.

The Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem, has clarified that they will not use any school premises or facilities during the pre-polling period.

Pre-polling begins in the Maritime islands from Monday, December 5 and ends on December 9. Mr Saneem made the clarification after concerns were raised during a The People’s Alliance campaign meeting in Vanua Levu on Wednesday.

He said pre-polling would not disrupt students from sitting their Year 12 and Year 13 examination and other students still sitting for exams or having their normal classes.

“We will be using our own tents and the village halls, we will not be using school premises or their facilities,” he said.
