Avantika Ryana Sharma did dedicate her dux award to her grandparents and family.
The year eight student scooped the annual award during the Togo Primary School prize giving ceremony in Nadi on Friday.
The head girl who is the lone child in the family recounted how her grandparents and family did set the course of her life.
