Mohammed Saneem: Officers Urged To Attend Or Face The Consequence
Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem.

Presiding officers and their assistants will be replaced if they fail to attend the refresher training for the December 14 General Election.

This was a stern warning from Fijian Elections Office.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem, made this clear in a live video on Facebook yesterday, as an announcement to its staff countrywide.

“We’ve now experienced that a number of POs and APOs who had previously given us contacts, those contacts are no longer reachable,” he said.

“Mobile numbers are either diverted, switched off and unavailable.”

Mr Saneem said they had until Friday to give their latest details.

“If you failed to do so, we would replace you and you would not know,” Mr Saneem said.

Officers are encouraged to call these numbers to confirm their availability for the training: 8983342, 8983340 or 1501.
