After receiving news of her father’s death last year, Vitalina Burese was considering giving up her university studies.
The feeling of not having her role model around was almost unbearable, but the support of her family kept her going.
Yesterday, the 22-year-old graduated from Corpus Christi Teachers College with a Diploma in Primary Education.
Hailing from Matawalu in Lautoka, she said: “I almost gave up on everything. I did not want to come back to school.”
