Former Cop Jailed For Robbing Chinese National

Your conduct brings the whole Fiji Police Force into disrepute and makes it difficult for honest officers to perform their functions.
These were the words of High Court Judge Justice Gihan Kulatunga while sentencing two former Police officers to four years imprisonment for robbing a Chinese national in an isolated and lonely location in Sigatoka.
Karim Begg, 46, and Ronil Ravinesh Chand, 32, have been convicted for aggravated robbery.
