Cyber violence is at an alltime high with cyber harassment rapidly affecting young women.

This was stressed by the Head of Unit, East Asia and Pacific Directorate-General for International Partnerships (INTPA) European Commission Jean-Louis Ville while closing the two-day Western Interagency Response to Gender Based Violence workshop at the Tanoa Waterfront Hotel in Lautoka last week.

He said the European Union strongly condemned all forms of violence against women and girls, including harmful practices which were a blatant violation of human rights.
