For a teacher to be recognised during an annual awards ceremony meant for students is unique.
Surprisingly, this was part of the Marist Brothers High School annual prize giving that took place at the National Gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Giana Cavuilati, a social science teacher at the school, was awarded for performing her due diligence throughout the academic year.
Like any other teacher, they were judged by the principal for the values they instilled in the lives of students.
