Gavoka Wants Christians To Make A Change

The Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) leader Viliame Gavoka has called on Christians to make a change.
Despite every session of Parliament being led with a Christian prayer from the Speaker, the SODELPA leader said the name of Jesus Christ had been removed from Parliament.
During the party’s rally at Syria’s Park on Friday, he said SODELPA would ensure the name of Jesus was brought back into Parliament.
“Voting for SODELPA in the election will give us a chance to fight for the people and provide what is for them in the next four years,” he said.
Due to this, he said there were continuing community rivalries in Suva, an increase in sexual crimes and a rampant spread of hard drugs.
“Socioeconomic problems and financial hardships have eroded families, faith and traditions which have been the bedrock of our society,” he said.
