Four Breaches In Black-out Period

The Fijian Elections Office received four complaints of breaches against the 48-hour Electoral Blackout period yesterday.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said the first steps taken was to remedy the breaches and remove the campaign materials.
Complaints were lodged against the FijiFirst for a campaign banner that was still up, social media ads for People’s Alliance Deputy Party Leader Manoa Kamikamica, Government pages of the Prime Minister and Attorney-General and a party banner in the interior of Fiji which police had attended to.
