Health-conscious Australians make up the chunk of clientele at a Fijian-owned kava bar in Brisbane, it has been revealed.
As the second and final phase of the Australian kava pilot programme rolls out, establishments such as Kava Warehouse near Redcliffe, Australia, have reported an increase in interest from non Pacific islander Australians.
The Australian Government’s kava pilot programme opened many new opportunities for Fijian kava farmers and exporters, like John Sanday, director of Kava Korp Ltd, and his recently opened Kava Warehouse.
