Some of the fake news circulating on social media related to the 2022 General Election have been debunked by Fiji Sun.
Social media blogger and creator of Grubsheet, Graham Davis, was called out by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption, after he claimed that the organisation’s Commissioner, Rashmi Aslam, had fled the country.
The post claimed that Mr Aslam was bound for Sri Lanka hours before Election Day (refer to screenshot).
