Terio Tamani Awaits His Fiji Sevens Call
Former Fiji Airways Fijian men’s rugby sevens playmaker, Terio Tamani, is ready to make a comeback in the HSBC World Sevens Series, if only he is given the opportunity by national sevens head coach Ben Gollings.
Tamani who plays equally well at halfback and known for his pin point kicking accuracy during the restarts, aggravated his knee injury during the Dubai tournament in 2021 and went through rehab.
The Ravitaki, Kadavu, native marked his return when he played halfback for Police in the team’s 19-11 win over Republic of Fiji Military Forces to claim the FMF Ratu Sukuna Bowl at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva, last month.
