First-Time Voters Lead The Way

A climate activist says her experience as a first-time voter was worth the wait, while a school dux was more than happy to fulfil her civic duty.
These were sentiments shared by AnnMary Raduva, 18, and 2022 Rakiraki Public High School dux, Angel Fatima, who is also 18 years old.
According to the Fijian Elections Office (FEO) voter statistics, voters aged between 18 years to 20 years totalled 37,060, with females (18,928) outnumbering the males (18,132).
