As Fijians made every effort to vote on election day yesterday, those who found it hard to cast their say, thanked the assistance that enabled them to reach the polling venues.

Two senior citizens who reached All Saint Secondary School at Vulovi, Labasa, saluted assistance from the officers who helped them reach the ballot box.

Kenita Tuirani of Valebasoga was aided yesterday by Constable Mohammed Zaid of Labasa Police Station.
