Hansel McCaig broke a 16-year0old national record in the 100metres Freestyle open during the FINA World Championship in Melbourne, Australia.
Hansel McCaig broke a 16-year national record in the 100metres freestyle open at the FINA World Championship in Melbourne, Australia.
McCaig set a new time of 49.73seconds. The previous record was set in 2006 by Olympian Carl Probert.
Fiji Swimming president Ben Rova was proud of the swimmers’ achievements.
