Ruth Wang, Central College Dux Constantly Aiming Higher
This was when her faith grew and her mind was set on securing the school’s dux award the following year – and she did just that.

After successfully attaining the highest mark in the Year 12 Certificate Examination (Y12CE) for Central College last year, Ruth Wang is motivated to achieve more.
The 18-year-old, who was brought up in the province of Liaoning in China, achieved 391 marks in the examination.
She attained 92 in English, 100 in mathematics, 100 in physics and 99 in chemistry.
This was when her faith grew and her mind was set on securing the school’s dux award the following year – and she did just that.
