Supervisor of Elections, Mo­hammed Saneem, has clari­fied that all counting of ballot papers at the National Count Cen­tre are done manually.

During a press conference at the count centre last night, Mr Saneem spoke to the media about the counting processes which, he said, did not involve any electronic process.

He made the statement after calls were made by the majority of opposition parties demanding a manual recount to be carried following a technical glitch with the FEO results app on Wednesday night.
