Lets Go Local: Levuka For Malhana Cloud Kitchen Director

Meet Joseph Inoke Deo, the director of Malhana Cloud Kitchen, located in Koronivia Road, Nausori tucked away from the hustle and bustle Suva-Nausori corridor.
The kitchen was inspired by Mr Deo’s mother-in-law Pushpa Wati Deo, and his love for cooking.
For the last six years, Malhana Sweets has made a name for itself through its perfectly crafted laddoos. Malhana Cloud Kitchen caters freshly-made local cuisine, coupled with Pacific and Western dishes that were missing in the Suva-Nausori corridor.
Malhana Kitchen is the sustainable arm of Pacific Recycling Foundation. It employs 12 people.
“We are about providing healthy yet delicious food that is absent in the market,” Mr Deo said.
“While we are the destination for meat enthusiasts, we also have food available for those who have dietary preferences like gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian. MCK is used for celebrations.
Proof is in the number of bookings we are getting for Christmas and end of the year parties from individuals, corporates and schools.
