Rinesh Sharma is the youngest elected Member of Parliament after the 2022 General Election.
The 29-year-old contested the election under the FijiFirst banner. Mr Sharma’s total vote was 1705, the majority of which came from the Western Division which was 947.
He prides himself as a farmer who grew up in the Western Division.
“Fiji today has 70 per cent of its population below the age of 40, we have a very dynamic, ambitious, hardworking and young group of people in this country,” Mr Sharma said.
