The Fiji Police Force has accepted the resignation of its acting assistant commissioner of Police, Abdul Khan.
He resigned citing personal reasons.
“I have accepted his resignation after the decision was reached on mutual understanding and I respect his decision to resign from the organisation,” said Commissioner of Police, Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho.
“I wish him well on his future endeavors and thank him for his service.”
This morning, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Livai Driu, filled the post.
He will also take up the post of Chief Operations Officer.
