Market vendors struggle to make ends meet this festive season.

Increase in the price on farm supplies have resulted in the reduced sale of produce this Christmas season.

With Christmas this Sunday, the Suva market vendors hope sales for Christmas shopping would pick up.

General Secretary for Suva United Market Vendors Association Krishin Kumar said lately business has been a slow steady progress.

Mr Kumar said because of the election, the business was very slow but now it has started to pick up.
