Police have arrested a 31-year-old man alleged to have stolen a motor vehicle from a shopping complex carpark in Makoi.

Police have arrested a 31-year-old man alleged to have stolen a motor vehicle from a shopping complex carpark in Makoi.
According to Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, Livai Driu, the vehicle was found abandoned at a farm road in Tovata.
The man from Nausori was arrested on the same day.
Acting ACP Driu said Police were out in public to ensure a safe environment is provided to all Fijians.
Police are also calling on members of the public to adhere to warnings issued.
