Two men were arrested by Police at the Delainavesi checkpoint after they were found with dried leaves believed to be marijuana.

Two men were arrested by Police at the Delainavesi checkpoint after they were found with dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
They were caught acting in a suspicious manner.
They are in Police custody as investigations continue.
Checkpoints were set up around the country to ensure Fijians were safe during this long weekend.
Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, Livai Driu, said Police were also focused on awareness and reminding drivers to be cautious when driving.
He said drivers could take a rest provided they stop by at a nearest Community Post.
“Random breathalyser tests will also be conducted at snap roadblock throughout the day,” he said.
