A woman who collapsed in Suva City was able to regain consciousness, thanks to the quick action of Fiji Sun finance officer Sakeasi Namasia.

Mr Namasia who is also the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Committee chairman was making his way home on the afternoon of December 21 when he noticed a crowd gathering near the Suva Market Police Post.

He said he couldn’t figure out what the chaos was about, but when he made his way to the spot, he saw a woman in her late 30s lying unconscious. He quickly applied his first aid knowledge to help the women.
