Gloomy New Year For Alleged Murder Victim’s Family
Five-year-old, Tokasa Dugulala asked her mother why her father was placed in a black body bag and if her dad would continue to bring food every morning for her.
Her father, Kitioni Waqa was found unconscious inside his car near the Nawaicoba Police Post in Nadi on Monday.
Mr Waqa was reported missing from his home last Saturday prompting his wife, Lani Waqa to lodge a report with Nadi Police.
Police spokesperson Constable Wame Bautolu said Mr Waqa was found unconscious in his car. He was taken to the Nadi Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The post-mortem result indicated that he died from serious head injuries.
