2 Resign
It has been confirmed that two board members of the Public Service Commission have resigned. PSC board chair Vishnu Mohan’s resignation was confirmed by Attorney-General Siromi Turaga, while board member Nesbitt Hazelman confirmed himself the same yesterday.
Other members of the board are businesswoman and chairperson of Investment Fiji Jenny Seeto, Fiji Executive Manager Corporate Affairs and Customer Experience and a Chief Executive Officer for Fiji Link Shaenaz Voss, the University of the South Pacific council member Mahmood Khan, and business executive Nikita Patel.
The resignations come on the back of controversial calls from staff members of the Office of the Prime Minister asking them to resign, an undertaking that Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka confirmed.
