Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka says the Commissioner of Police, Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho is “not a man loyal to the coalition Government.”
He said it would be good if Brigadier-General Qiliho willingly resigned as head of the Fiji Police Force.
Mr Rabuka made the comment during his tour of the North when he was asked whether Brigadier-General Qiliho had handed in his resignation to the Constitutional Offices Commission on Tuesday night.
This follows the Minister for Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua, who invited Brigadier-General Qiliho to resign after their meeting last week.
