The mitigation and sentence submissions for Suva lawyer, Richard Naidu, has been deferred to February 20.
The matter was scheduled to be called today but has been vacated.
Mr Naidu was convicted by the High Court in Suva for scandalising and ridiculing the courts and the judiciary through a judgment, last November.
The judgment had the word ‘injection’ instead of ‘injunction’.
The misspelt word was pointed out by Mr Naidu on Facebook which led to court four months after the original post was made.
The charges were filed by former Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum which resulted in High Court Judge Justice Jude Nanayakkara finding the charge to be proven beyond doubt.
