Fiji Airways head coach Ben Gollings is fielding an Under 20 side at the 2023 McDonalds Fiji Coral Coast Sevens at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, next weekend.
Gollings yesterday said with a space of one week for the Hamilton 7s he simply can’t afford to gamble for his players to be part of the tournament.
He believes that the tournament back home is important to groom more talents.
“We are not fielding a senior team for the Coral Coast 7s. It is just close considering that we need to travel within a day or two so it wouldn’t make sense,” Gollings said.
