Govt To Prioritise Tent Dwellers
Help is on the way for 262 Nabavatu villagers of Dreketi, Macuata, who had been living in tents for the past two years at an Assemblies of God Church compound.

Help is on the way for 262 Nabavatu villagers of Dreketi, Macuata, who had been living in tents for the past two years at an Assemblies of God Church compound.
The Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management, Sakiasi Ditoka assured the people of Nabavatu that they would be relocated soon.
During his first official visit to the village on Wednesday, Mr Ditoka told the villagers that his responsibility was to push for things to happen.
He was sad to see the conditions the villagers had been living in since Tropical Cyclone Ana on January 31, 2021.
