Changes In The Retirement Age Will Not Affect New Graduates

Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro has assured that no new graduates will be impacted with the increase of retirement age of the civil service from 55 to 60 years.
Mr Radrodro was responding to Opposition Member of Parliament (MP) and former Minister for Education Premila Kumar who claimed that the change would affect graduates from tertiary institutions.
In a press conference yesterday, Ms Kumar said she could only sympathise with graduates because it would be now hard for them to find employment.
