Finishing top four in the 2022- 2023 World Rugby Sevens World Series is priority says Fijiana sevens head coach Saiasi Fuli.
It is because the top four finishers automatically get a spot in next year’s Olympic Games in France. Fijiana currently sits on sixth place after the Dubai and Cape Town 7s last year; they head to Hamilton next weekend then to the Sydney 7s scheduled January 21-22 and 27-29 respectively.
While it has been tough to be in camp during the festive season, the Fijiana team did not sway from their focus to qualify for Paris.
