Trapping Exercise Begins For Sick And Stray Dogs
We have trapped all these dogs and taken them away from the streets. We have been doing it, but we have seen that the beggars were feeding these dogs and more have followed them and even slept with them on the streets.

Concerns have been raised over the growing number of sick and stray dogs roaming around Nadi Town.
The business community has raised the issue even of dogs sleeping with beggars near shop corridors.
Nadi Town Council acting chief executive officer, Muni Reddy, told the Fiji Sun: “We have trapped all these dogs and taken them away from the streets. We have been doing it, but we have seen that the beggars were feeding these dogs and more have followed them and even slept with them on the streets.”
