Josese Batirerega, who is dubbed the ‘X-Factor’ for the Fiji 7s team, is set to make his debut at this weekend’s Hamilton 7s tournament in New Zealand.
Batirerega is among rookies named by Fiji 7s team head coach Ben Gollings for the Hamilton and Sydney 7s tournaments.
It is thanks to the Dominion Brothers Rugby Club, which has developed players who go on to reap rewards in the international rugby arena.
Club coach Rokolua Manuapa is no stranger to grooming upcoming players who go on to be next big stars in the World Rugby 7s circuit.
