$10m Owed To USP To Be Achieved Through Redeployment Of Funds: PM

Mr Rabuka said going forward, the Government in discussion with USP hopes to agree to a payment plan to be funded in future budgets in addition to USP’s regular Annual Grant which will be restored in the 2023-2024 Budget in July.

$10m Owed To USP To Be Achieved Through Redeployment Of Funds: PM
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.

Through its redeployment of funds, the Coalition Government will be able to clear overdue payments with the University of the South Pacific.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka in a press conference said: “The redeployment will allow the Government to immediately release an initial amount of FJ$10 million to the University of the South Pacific.”
