Students Will Travel At Their Own Cost After Stage Two
Parents and guardians who wish to enroll their children outside of what used to be school zones will have to pay for their travel fare daily.
Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, confirmed their fare would only be catered up to stage two from their residence.
“While zoning has been removed, parents who wish to take their children further away from their homes will have to meet any additional costs,” he said.
The school zoning policy; which was repealed on Monday; was a strategic move by the FijiFirst Government, linked to the Roadmap for Democracy and Sustainable SocioEconomic Development.
