A family’s celebration mood to welcome the new school term turned tragic when their five-year-old drowned in a pool at a hotel in Wailoaloa, Nadi.
Voniani Adam Qoro is believed to be the country’s latest drowning victim, according to Police.
Voniani along with his mother, his two sisters, four cousins and a toddler niece had left on Tuesday to spend a few nights at the hotel.
They were there to celebrate before school started.
