Former Soldepa Party Members Withdraw Case
After two years, two former Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA) members have withdrawn their case against the party because of the formation of the coalition Government.
The former members, Taitusi Rasoki Kata and Ilaitia Bavadra appeared before High Court Judge, Justice Anare Tuilevuka at the Civil High Court in Lautoka yesterday.
They were represented by counsel, Kalisito Maisamoa.
Mr Kata and Mr Bavadra had withdrawn the case against first defendant, Ratu Apenisa Cakobau, second defendant, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu, Ro Teimumu Kepa and George Shiu Raj, third defendant, Emele Sima Duituturaga, fourth defendant, Lenaitasi Biaukula and the fifth defendant, the Registrar of Political Parties.
