Mumbai Surgeons To Conduct Open Heart Surgeries At Children’s Heart Hospital

A 17-member team from Mumbai, India, is in the country to conduct open heart surgeries at the Sai Sanjeevani Children’s Heart Hospital at Muanikau, Suva.
Hospital manager Pratin Lal said 25 children would be operated on starting from Sunday, January 21.
Mr Lal said since the hospital began operating last April, specialists from visiting teams had operated on 81 children.
“This is the fourth team of surgeons that have arrived to conduct operations at the new hospital,” he said.
“The admissions start on Saturday and operations start from Sunday.”
Mr Lal said the team was from the Sai Sanjeevani Hospital in Mumbai.
