AG Siromi Turaga Confirms: Complaints Against Corrections Chief

Attorney- General Siromi Turaga says he has received complaints against the Commissioner of Fiji Corrections Service, Commander, Francis Kean.
“I can confirm that,” he said on Saturday, however he was not in a position to disclose further details.
The A-G is a member of the Constitutional Offices Commission (COC) that looks after the appointments of the Fiji Corrections Service Commissioner, Commissioner of Police and the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
Mr Turaga reiterated that he could not comment on any issues discussed at the COC meetings.
