He said the complaints by the General Secretary of FijiFirst Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on the possible amendment of the Constitution was his prerogative.

Eight months away from its 10-year anniversary, Attorney-General Siromi Turaga says it makes sense to review the 2013 Constitution now.
In a media conference yesterday, Mr Turaga said he would continue to uphold the Constitution at all times; however, its’ amendment was clear.
“I’m aware of the requirements for amendment contained in Section 160 of the Constitution. It is now almost 10 years since the constitution was proclamated by decree so it makes sense that a review should take place and the provisions for its amendment followed to improve it,” Mr Turaga said.
