Ministry of Education Reaffirms The Continuation Of Transport Assistance
The Ministry of Education has confirmed to the general public that the Transport Assistance to students remains intact and would be subject to the same eligibility criteria as last year.
“I wish to reassure parents and guardians that there is no change in the Transport Assistance. The programme still provides assistance within the first three stages of bus routes from the schools,” said the Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro.
He said that like last year, parents and guardians are responsible to cater for the balance of fares for children travelling beyond the first three stages.
