Safety remains our highest priority, says the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF).

CAAF confirmed a Qantas flight QF102 enroute from Nadi to Sydney on Sunday, January 22, 2023 had to turn back because of a report of smoke in the aircraft.

“The appropriate aerodrome emergency phase was declared at Nadi airport and following safe landing of the aircraft, this aerodrome emergency phase was then cancelled and emergency services stood down,” CAAF said.
