Nakasi Youth club members helped steet beggars with free food packs within the Suva-Nausori corridor recently.
Enjoying a full-course meal before sleep is only a dream for many street beggars and those caught in the rural-to-urban drift.
However, members of the Nakasi Youth Club (NYC) in Nasinu have come to the aid of these unfortunate people with their food drives.
Club founder Mohammed Shafil said their free food drive was to help people who were deprived of the basic and healthy living lifestyles because of their financial instability.
Mr Shafil said every three months they conducted food drives for street beggars in the Western and Northern Divisions.
