Jonacani Tilalati is a senior barista at 28g, an all-day restaurant and lobby bar at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, Denarau Island.

28g is dubbed as an expert in tropical coffee culture; it provides a layered café experience in a friendly atmosphere at the center of the resort.

The 42-year-old Navolau, Viria, Naitasiri native has spent 18-years in the tourism industry in various service roles mainly within properties along the Nadi – Coral Coast corridors.

He became a barista just five years ago and he urged guests to visit Sheraton Fiji Beach Resort to experience the services offered at the resort.

His services acumen does stand out and is a great team player at the station he works for.

The former Ratu Kadavulevu School athlete did burn the Laucala Bay tracks during the Coca-Cola games in his prime days. He was at RKS from 1992-1996.

He is a singer and a netball and volleyball player

Where in Fiji would you take Visitors to?

It is eight to Fiji Marriott Momi Bay or to Likuliku Resort in Malolo.

Famous for the over-water bungalows, just open the room door and step right into the ocean.

What is your favourite place for coffee/pie?

Nothing beats 28g at Sheraton Fiji Beach Resort; I cannot find words to describe the taste of the pie.

But the good Victorian coffee beans brew the best coffee.

What is your favourite backyard spot?

Any place shady enough, where I can relax and flex my muscles.

What is one place in Fiji that is on your bucket list?

The Momi battery historical park in Nadroga.

I have heard about guns but I have not seen them. My friends from the Momi area love to boast about it.
