The Leader of Opposition, Voreqe Bainimarama, and his nominee to the Constitutional Offices Commission (COC), Roko Tupou Draunidalo walked out an hour into the commission’s deliberations yesterday following a disagreement.
When questioned outside the meeting venue, Mr Bainimarama refused to reveal why they left the meeting early.
Fiji Sun understands the disagreement stemmed from communication sent to the President regarding matters before the COC.
