New Rule For This Year’s Premier League

All teams in this year’s Digicel Premier League and Senior League must feature two Under-21 players.

This was endorsed in today’s Fiji Football Association’s council meeting at the Fiji Football Association headquarters in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

The council also confirmed that this year’s DPL competition will kick off on February 19.

In the first round of competition defending champions Rewa takes on Labasa at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori at 3pm. It will be a double- header at Ratu Cakobau Park where Ba faces Tailevu/Naitasiri at 1pm.

Newcomers Tavua hosts Suva at Garvey Park at 3pm. Lautoka travels to Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka to play Nadroga at 3pm. At the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour, Deuba, Navua plays Nadi at 3pm.
